Looks like mine will be attending a certain 2CVGB event in North Wales on Saturday... (2CV broken!)

Yeah I read about that. We wanted to do Sportsmans but planned to do Tan Hill a long time ago... It's a shame they're on the same weekend.

I must admit that I am quite looking forward to a leak free journey though. :)

Whoa! That's a dangerous thing to say when you're going in something with hydraulics!

Ah, ha, Raid Tan hill on sunday is it then Rich ?

Is this a boys only trip (i dunno why your post suggests this but to my mind it does, im usually wrong though)

If it is, then can i invite myself and BX along?

The reason i ask is, A) Im on my own at mo as is amy visiting her folks, so to my mind boys trip would be good.
and B) i have little faith in my BX at the moment the amount of times its broken down this last month. Even though in reality it should now be fine, So i wouldnt wanna be a right pain if families were in tow and it did break down :) You guys would be easier to annoy and then abandon when the tow truck arrives :)

And i cant do sportsmans as have to work saturday morning. But overtime is overtime :)

Anyway, let us know chap.

It was a mistake tbh. I bought it very cheap as a stop gap whilst the BX was being erm tempremental. Then it went wrong as well, so i borrowed my dads dyane and the brakes stopped working on that, cars hate me you know :)
Obviously my own cortina, dyane, acad, 2CV are all off the road at the moment, there was also no way i was riding the bike in the recent snow.

So anyway, i now have for sale one taxed and tested nissan with an oil leak. Scrap money if anyones interested :)
Its actually quite a nice car, just needs a bit of tlc.

Mr defender,its a hatch.

mot and tax till june 2011.

80k or something, BUT

the previous owner 'customised' it. Cut springs, so needs replacement springs ideally. I quite like the look but it isnt practical. It leaks oil quite well, like enough to be embarresing and unhelpful. Although you can drive it like 40 miles before needing to top it up.

To fix will be auto box off i think. Im thinking with tax 195 without 100 quid.

SORRY Rich, didnt mean to hijack your thread.
