Very sad 19TRS
Rescued from Medway Citroen at long last. Ive been trying to get her picked up for months and Remy has been very understanding.
Was mot,d until earlier this year but now has blown rear pipe and a few bits of trim missing. Very low mileage though.
Still got to make a decision as to her future?
Richard.

Dropped cam cover off at a specialist alloy welders this morning as ive had no joy in locating a spare. Anyone got any beige interior trim spare like windscreen pillar covers, parcel shelf?
Hopefully Toddao has sorted me some correct TRS wheeltrims and we can meet up when he is over .
Cant weigh up the bonnet though, it looks the original although buggered but has air intake from a long nose bonnet and not a grill from a short nose?
Richard.

Doh!!!!!! didnt think to check pug spares, ah well its getting sorted now. Yes Chris GtI,s Turbo diesels and automatics etc got what we call short nose bonnets which have a little grill between bonnet and bumper. Smaller petrols and n/a diesels tended to get long nose bonnet which goes right down to the bumper.(Although as with anything French this law cannot be relied on 100%)Also some got metal bonnets and most were plastic but theres no real rule of thumb with that either.
Welders have just rung whilst im typing this to say rocker cover is ready.

To be honest the long nose grille does aid cooling AND as its the right colour I woudnt worry. I have a spare grille you can have gratis.richardd1652 wrote:No i havnt got a grill, although i have the long nose bonnet that came from you Tim. Dont know whether to rebuild as long or short nose. Consensus seemed to think it should be long nose?

My dads 19RD had a long nose bonnet, but after an arguement with a Cortina it came back from the garage with a short nose and grille!
