The front struts on the TZI are shagged, they stick and groan and generally spoil the car as it rides very poorly indeed, which is a shame as the rear had new arm bearings and spheres last year and is smoooooth as silk!
Before I end up mortaging mysel to pleides I though I would ask if anyone has a set of a great used ones?
I have done the lubrication tricks on the struts and also with the return pipes in a jar of LHM and its made it a BIT better but they still need changing.

It sounds worth going for Tim as long as you can be sure that you get the new ones fitted to Phil's old BX. After all, I paid about £80 from pleides for one recon strut a few years back and I think they have gone up to well over £100 now.Roverman wrote:Had a reply back, £100 plus carriage, will have to wait a bit longer I think!

Edwards will happily supply you with good used struts if you ask them, i bought one from them in about march, 40 quid i think it was.
