Security valve

Well, the return plastic in my security valve has gone and the car pissed all the inside of the valve and all the LHM.

Is it normal for this component to let go?

isn't this normally just pushed (ie not fixed) in? are you referring to the transparent pipe?

try pushing it back in again firmly. if it gets spat out again then i think that means it's a problem with the internals of the valve.

its usualy the short length of conecting rubber pipe that perrish's and splits,

and the usual repair if there is enough length is to cut it back a bit then push it back on,

this can also fix it if the rubber cant grip the plastic spout of the safty valve,

Well friends, the problem is solved, the valve was KO and was killing all the housings. New security valve fitted and problem solved.

We fitted 3 plastic housings and the security valve brake all of them.

Curious that wasn't saved by the leak-off, but main thing is that you identified the component fault.

Way2go, the problem was the leek-off, that got stuck and was blowing the plastic housing.
