Sadly I have to sell my 1993 BX TXD.
It's a red one that's still red and now in showroom condition.
I've had it since it was 2 years old and passed it down to my son in law 4 years ago.
3 years ago he followed me into Picasso ownership and it's been on sorn ever since.
SInce june I have done a complete refurb. it will be MOT'd next week and taxed for 6 months.
With it will come a comprehensive list of known good spares including things like power rack, front calipers, hyd pump, h/ lights, rear lights, to name a few.
Will add some pics later, they are on BXP already for anyone interested.
It's advertised at a grand locally, but I'm offering 25% off for anyone on here or BXP.

If you can offer 99% off the 25% off price I'd like to talk to you about it. Or pehaps you'd like a Mk3 Mongdeo as a straight swap?
Thought not

Hows your Rover running these days

I often wonder if my 1981 Vitesse is still running. I sold it to a guy in Scotland in 1986.
I also had a 2600 auto that I sold a couple of years later and that was in showroom nick AND 337Y that one was.

Fantastically, in 14 years its been great, a rotor arm and a perished fuel pipe in 10000 miles is all thats let go asides the usual service items. It doesnt get used that much these days as I have 6 Citroens and its not exactly cheap to run!.

I've always wanted a SD1 but they've always aluded me. A series one V8 in Mustard with leather would be my ideal one.

:) For fuel economy I (very mistakenly) swapped my anthracite Vitesse ( with red stripe :P ) manual.
For a pristine pale blue 2600 auto. That thing cost me a fortune. Cold start device packed in, it got through 2 compensator valves + gallons of ATF, until I fitted the mod kit no one told me about, rear axle replacement,
Bearing had worn through the casing at one side. Altenator and battery. It was only a bout 4 mpg better also.
The bleeding thing was only 3 years old when I bought it and I kept it for 2 years, till I traded it in for a 6 month old Montego
