Hi mike, is there anything you would like me to check about it before I attempt removal?

I have the car up on stands now, and with the fluid leak I can't test for functionality save to say that it was working last time I saw the car, pm me an offer on price please

You've not replied about the pipe that i've mentioned earlier in this thread? Are the rear struts salvageable?

What abou buying the pump and regulater and accuminter. They was working superb before it went. It went up and down fast it did. And the car stayed up before it sagged down.
The enginge i think soudnd nice for the age. It just suddered a tiny bit like under a second. When starting it up. But once it was running it sounded smooth.
Unless they have allready been bought. Just trying to think of other good parts you guys can have before it goes. I think the seats are really nice as well. And all the electrics worked. Just the rev counter what wasnt working.

Yeah the interior is very good on this car for the age.

The Pressure regulator & Acc. Sphere have gone already.

Mulley; When you say rear struts, do you mean the part the spheres screw on to? (We know them as cylinders, so just to ensure we are both thinking of the same part!) I managed to get both pins out today, so I can remove them if you want them (I will check the condition before sale of course).

Wooscary: your parts are in the post!

Edit: sorry I should mention I sold the front struts and bumper today too.

Pulled the rear cylinders off today, one has slightly more pitting than the other, but both are servicable:

Right after a stay of execution, the car will definitely be going tomorrow or Wednesday, I still have a pair of tail lights, a headlamp and the rear cylinders .

Any other business will have to be pretty damned quick.

Assuming it will fit my estate and is rot free, the off side front wing would be of interest. Also the front wiper arm.

The wing had already gone, I might have a wiper arm.

THE CAR HAS NOW BEEN SCRAPPED.

I kept the rear lights, the lh front light and the rear cylinders never got claimed.

I was offered £110 scrap for Paul before I started parting the car out, after selling as much as I could within the time constraints, I got him £310 in total, which isn't bad imho.
