Complete 3-piece clutch kit, brand new. Bought in error - seems to fit everything except a TD, which is what I wanted it for...
Oh, no good for GTi 16V or BX14 either.
£20 collected from Loughborough, or can post at cost (about a tenner I would have thought).

As I say, it won't fit a TD anyway, or I'd have kept it!
It's just cluttering up the barn so I'd rather it went to someone who'll use it at some point.
As far as picking up's concerned, trouble is it's not actually in Loughborough yet - will be back there towards the back end of next week.
Not sure what make it is - it was bought in France IIRC but is stamped Made in UK and has a couple of Q-prefix ID marks on it so I'm guessing Quinton Hazel. There's a part number on a sticker on the friction plate but I'd have to go out to the barn to find it!

As far as I can tell from the clutch fitment guide I have, it should fit everything as listed above - all carburettor petrol and normally aspirated diesel but not TD and not GTi.
The only thing that might not be right is the release bearing, which has a different reference across the range from the middle of 1989 onwards. I'm pretty sure the two types are interchangeable, but I'll check this afternoon against one I know to be the later type and confirm which sort is with this kit.

Yep, it's definitely the later type release bearing so should be fine for your car.sdelasal wrote:will this fit a 1.9D say 89 on?

What's the difference then...? Is it the mounting to the actuator arm? Can't believe the bearing itself is that different, and I'd be surprised if they changed the design of the arm itself.Roverman wrote:Unlike the one I boughtKevR wrote:Yep, it's definitely the later type release bearing so should be fine for your car.sdelasal wrote:will this fit a 1.9D say 89 on?

I refer the honourable gentleman to my earlier answer:Grenman wrote:Will it fit an 86 DTR?

However, looks like it's now sold anyway. Thanks to all who expressed an interest.
