Still available from www.beal.org.uk - £10.95 + vat.
They also have the rubber priming bulbs as fitted to some BXs and C15s etc. So the other way round would be to fit any old diesel filter and use one of the bulbs for priming.

That may be the way forward for now as i have a spare primer bulb.

If i fit this in line with a suitable self contained diesel filter then i may be able to sort it.

The only thing that wories me about the primer you discussed is that the in and out pipes/contacts or whatever you call them are of a different size to the original purflux ones. I suppose a motor factor could supply correct sized ones?

the universal head i bough a few years back had the corect sized ports/threads,

it just had an in and an out at both sides+ two blanking plugs, so you just use the two ports you require,
