Well, it'll soon be wearing a 19TRS badge, so that sort of makes it a DTR. Doesn't it? (temporary measure, I don't intend pretending a higher spec for long!)

Thanks for the offer Phil. That'll be very handy. We need some info/displays, but there's no point going to town as most people walk straight past anyway!

I'd love to be involved with the design work - I'd obviously bow to Phils better judgement being a seasoned pro 'n all. Also, I think we should go to town - or as near to town as you can get with 26 quid (or however much we raise! ) we could even make a model first!!

Whatever we produce should be reusable as much as possible. Maybe we can get a sponsor, like GSF on board to help. If we could create the material in time for the ICCCR all the better too?

Dear All.
I was thinking that I would consider contributing to the POT, providing
you let me know how much first. However I am not sure we could make
that event

Well, I'm not even going to get the begging bowl out until we get an idea of whether we're likely to get a pitch. Some generic artwork seems a good idea though, wherever we end up. There's the ICCCCCCR to consider for a start and we should definitely get some display space there! Has anyone spoken to the organisers about that yet?

(I've still got a slight issue in that I want my 2CV and the BX to be there. Guess I'll need to find a trailer and plan a slow journey!)

Stop missing a C out. It's ICCCR! :P Glad to hear it's in order. As Phil says, if we come up with any banners, making them reusable for other shows would be handy.

I just need to be told what the banner-makers can offer format-wise and what they need from me once the BXC has decided what we should have: The ICCCR organisers must have people they use. It won't be free obviously so we need to know how much and by when.

Just to encourage you all a bit more...

If you can get a stand at the show (space is limited, and usually goes to regulars), the deal is that the organisers provide two show passes per day for each car that's on display, plus an extra two on top, as well as an appropriate number of car park passes. When you look at the prices for entry and parking for the show as a paying customer, you'll see that if anyone willing to help on the stand stumps up a few quid towards expenses they may still find it cheaper than it would normally be!

If you organise things so that a rota allows several people to attend over the show period, you should cover most people who are willing to help.

If anyone wants to go for this, drop me a line for advice, but if you do plan on doing this for 2012 get in touch with the show organisers NOW!
