I would also like some headlight protectors if anyone has some
( I know I just missed out on the pair Mike P had )

I have already dug out my haynes book of lies for the BX and have been given a sun roof wind deflector in good condition.

havent even got the car yet.

You may be lucky and find a sunroof deflector from a different car that fits - someone mentioned to me once that one off some Hyundai or other was a good match...

Aren't those door wind deflectors, generic ones rather than Citroen accessories? I had a pair of Citroen ones that were like dumbo ears with horrible fasteners that kept breaking.. I've got the passenger side one left with a few assorted fixings which the drivers side cracked and blew away in a strong wind!

Wind deflectors

Post by bx petrol auto saloon »

Dear Susan.
I have a white 93 BX 1.6 TXi auto with abs and air- conditioning as you
know, I have a set of those front wind deflectors fitted to my car by the
previous owner 8) They are fantastic, I love the look of them, they
certainly don,t stick out at all
Now bearing in mind I polish every part of my car more times in a
year than other people do in a lifetime  As with the headlamp
protectors I have fitted on my 88 SAAB 900i facelift model, and the
window defletors on the BX, I have large old pillow from the bed, and
I remove the deflectors and put them on the pillow and polish them with
your carbody polish  NOT YOUR WINDOW POLISH, as this dries
too quickly and can smear the tinted window deflectors and tinted sun-
roof deflectors too.
I have had no problems with mine at all and they suit the car very
very well. I wouldn,t be without them 8)
I have aswell courtessy of the previous owner a brand new tinted
sunroof visor, but it is unfortunatly broken, so I am on the look out
for a new one too
Isn,t it this weekend you are picking up BX :?: good luck with that
then too.
All The Best.

Hi Mick,

i bought a set for my Red one, 28 quid on feebay a few years ago and i can drive down to Looe with the drivers window down at motorway speeds quite comfortably so just get a set. Ime sure you wont get anything cheap these days. Got them on all my BXs, Sophie came with them but there is a Mk 1 set on feebay now but its too pricey for me.

I drive everywhere with the window fully down and no problems.

Wind deflectors on the bay

spotted these as I was looking for some as well. Hmm are these worth 10% of the cost of the car?!

Yet further down the list they are cheaper but from the same guys! The joys of the bay

cheaper version

The cheaper ones are for the rear doors that's why they are cheaper.
