Thanks Vince. Unfortunately I don't have your mechanical skills which - thinking about it - might not be such a bad thing; it means I only spend a substantial part of my life messing about with my cars instead of ALL of it!
Another woe to sort out on the TGD I'm afraid; a suspension pipe suddenly decided to shoot its bolt at the weekend
. I'd put the car in high to give it a clean and assume the extra pressure required was a bit too much for the old girl. Initially (after a couple of frenzied phone calls to 'BXperts' - you know who you are!), I assumed it was probably air in the system and spent half a day pouring fresh LHM down the pipe to the pump with the accumulator bleed screw opened up a bit in the hope that that would sort it - it didn't though. Then I spotted the leak. . .
Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No it's Shaun! Coming over to sort it out next week I hope.
I fitted the new embellishers on the rear doors and wings anyway. Although the cars sudden incapacity spoiled the pleasure a little bit, I thought, well, if you're going to spend the next week sitting around on your fat arse doing bugger all, you might as well look good doing it!
