Dear All.
LATEST UPDATE.
Finally managed as you can see, some photo,s of her highness on the
Gallery page.
Barry at BCC never bothered replying to my e-mail
The exhaust people backed out too  I have managed to secure
a deal with another supplier now
I have now managed to get the inside all nice and clean and all
polished, I have just the o/s/f area to do now, and it has come up very
nice indeed :)
I got some new sphere,s from GSF and now they all have been
fitted and are all working a treat. I was struggling to shift the accumal-
ator sphere, with my first attempt, but today I finally suceeded in getting
that changed :D :D I did notice that once the new sphere,s were
fitted the problem with the car appearing to ride too high has now gone
thankfully. I still have to sort out some slightly sticky struts.
Had to renew the battery aswell as it was tatered :!: got a 5 year
warranty one on it now.
I had a look at the heater tap again, and it appears to be working
satisfactorily and seems to be the cables and the rods that are stopping
it from working properly.
Gave the car another polish last week, now it needs doing again
now :) Fitted my new rear wiper blade at last. tested out the sunroof
too today, it works really well, a little tight, but I think after a damn
good clean indide and a bit of oil on a few parts might do some good.
I haven,t cleaned and polished in there just yet, but plenty of time to
do that.
Anyway that,s me done for now.
All The Best.
Vince.

Dear Paul.
Thankfully the polish I use, is one of those, that stays on the car and
builds up another layer, every time I use it, which is why I use it
The original paintwork on my SAAB is as hard as nails, after having so
many coates of this polish. Any other polish and I would have lots of
surface scratches etc etc.
Lovely photo,s Paul :) 8) Thank-you for those, I was wondering what
mine " should " look like :) I,m NOT sure I like the white painted spare
wheel Paul  Mine are black I think  8)
I am thinking of painting the floor  I couldn,t make my mind up
whether it is going to be black or white :?: But now you have very kindly
shown me those photo,s, it is most definately going to have to be white
I think
I wouldn,t buy that one Paul, I don,t like driving left leggers anyway.
and that is too much money too :!:
Anyway Paul thank you very much for your very kind comments
again and the photo,s are great aren,t they 8) :)
How are you getting on with your horn and HRW problem then Paul ?
All The Best Paul.
Take Care.

I've seen your Gallery thread of course, what polish do you use to get such a great finish? I usually just start at the roof and work down when washing my cars and am a bit lazy about polishing/waxing  (dare I own up to using Tesco's own brand car wash/wax stuff?)

But now I have the car I really really want, there's no excuses and hopefully keeping it all shiny will feel less of a chore - any recommendations on what you use gratefully received.

Dear All.
Update as of todays date, I took her out today  to pick up
some parts that I had ordered last week from my not so local factors.
I picked up some 6 litres of dextron 2, enough for the Saxo and the
BX, 2 new front brake flexi-hoses, which are just for spares, as there is
nothing wrong with the ones that are already fitted to the car  I
also managed to get hold 2 new handbrake cables and 2 new tailgate
struts aswell. The handbrake cables and the tailgate struts are going to
be fitted to her, as the currrent handbrake cables are beginning to
signs of the metal casings, where they pass through the metal brackets.
For the last couple of weeks I have been polishing, cleaning and
Mr Sheening and hoovering out the R*****t, as I decided that with no
tax and no M.O.T, and needing 3 new tyres and with a couple of other
problems aswell. I thought the best thing to do is to clean it all up and
put it up for sale outside my house  So this week escpecially, I
have been in and out like a perverble yo-yo with the hoover :)
I am a little worried about selling the car, as the local ( P**ies )
they are already slowing down in thier vans, as they go past my house.
Once the R*****t has gone I can carry on with changing the auto
box fluid and the tailgate struts and the handbrake cables then
and then I can also set about lubricating the suspension struts and
trying to figure out which is the best way of lubricating the rear radius
arm bearings, as I want to do the job myself, so that I can decide for
myself wether to use grease or oil, oil would be my prefered choice, as
grease is hydroscopic and oil isn,t.
Anyway thats me done for today
. All The Best.

Dear Sandre, Tim, Paul, Mark and Mick.
AAAAAwwwwwww, thanks ever - so much guys, I have only just noticed all of your
really kind Birthday Greetings guys =D> :D  That is really very touching thank-
you ALL so much. :o
Unusually for me I didn,t go on the forum, on my Birthday
I had a quiet Birthday at home with Shari my daughter Nat and granddaughter Anna,
which is what I like :) I had lots of lovely cards, new polo shirt and a nice jumper and
managed to get some new make of car polish and some matching tyre gel aswell, which
I have used once on Shari,s car and twice on the BX now, this stuff is really fantastic
so I am well chuffed indeed, the beading on the BX when it rains now is really very good
indeed, I will try to take some more photos of Sandy, before it rains and when it is rain-
ing to show the difference :)
Anyway I must zip, and thank-you all again so very much indeed =D>
