2007 Again, free 16TGS with 230000 miles, which ended up looking half tidy after lots of work, sold to Artic Steel, who he sold to his Sister and it got scrapped. So many cars I should have kept but I liked doing them up, so once they were nice I sold them and got another (not for profit I hasten to add)

And possibly the whitest BX EVER! Bought for £50, but was filthy, interior was in bits and the front end was all over the place, new wing, fixed the bumper, a good machine polish and some new St Tropez stripes and voila!

Loving the green estate, and that Tropez is a real dazzler. I don't know how you can bring yourself to part with them!

More recent (2009) a 44000 miles one family owned 16TRS, that was offered free as it had no MOT or TAX, collected by me on behalf of Artic Steel as he was on the BXAgon, I fitted new spheres at the front, a tyre and a oil change later and it passed her MOT plus a good clean.

I bought it back 6 months later as it had been sat gathering dust but I didnt need two 16TRS's so offered it on the BXC, but was sold to a guy in the CCC. Who put diesel in it and wondered why it smoked, claimed the engine was knackered (which it wasnt), parked it up and I dont know where she is now. Wears P2 rear lenses and Z stylee trims to make her a little more youthful. Interior was mint but a fair few bumps and bangs and the silver paint was "de-lacquering on the roof and bonnet and would fade the minute you got near it with water!

TBH the St Tropez was a nice car but had issues, plus I didnt like the lack of "gadgets" plus the 19TZI auto (the one I always wanted) came up so had to sell it to pay for that. Its still going but not so shiny now, although alot better mechanically I expect.

Hmm well not everyones seen it that way, Ive made a couple of quid on a few (if you dont take into account all the hours I put in) but also lost an awful lot on others, I think It would have been cheaper to buy a new C5! I guess being single and having only one main hobby (this) allows me to spend lots of time doing a bit here and a bit there. Ive got 4 beauties now, which if funds allow I will keep, so doubt I will be back to my BX buying again for a while.
