what a lovely doggy! I didn't know you had a canine companion?!
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Colour coded wheels are factory standard (I prefer them silver) as are the black bumpers instead of stainless steel, its a V8-S which was the top spec at the time, A/C (doesnt work), headlamp washers, sunroof etc, the V8 badge isnt colour coded its just the reflection..... 8)

Thats Sammy, my best mates dog (he has two now, both lovely chocolate labradors), sadly my job hours doesnt allow a pet that needs much looking after (im out 8-6).

The 'new Rover' SD1 had a massive inpact on me car wise as a young teenager, I thought they were absolutely stunning. The only other car that has had such an impact on me was the Jensen Interceptor. I've since owned a Jensen but not yet a Rover, may be one day!

I guess we must be quite lucky then, as we got our dog when Lana was at a job where she could take her to work every day. Now she's not able to the dog stays at home alone from half 8 till half 6, and is as good as gold. Never been a mess, and never any destruction - that was a worry as Dobermanns are known for getting bored easily! I wouldn't get a dog though, if you know that you'd have to leave it for long periods.

The SD1 is still very cheap, BX cheap in some instances, avoid the 6 cylinder, and go on condition more than spec. he later cars were better built but I prefer the clean lines of the S1.

Yes definitelry be a S1 if I was to ever buy one, the S2 lost the glamour factor for me.

Showed photos of the rust to the local bodyman, says he can sort it so just waiting on him so I can get it too him, its about 4 miles from where shes stored....

Turns out one of the new rear lamps doesnt fit the existing bulb holders! Damn
