Shes off to the bodyshop!, to get the two rear quarters repaired and ready for paint, the price is eye watering, nearly as much as paid for the blasted car but it will be done right.

I ended up buying a used rear bumper, as David never replied, until 3 days after Id agree to buy the used one, to say YES the new is still available. Some you win some you loose!

5 weeks to the ICCCR....its going to be close.

Someones been busy :D yes I know hes grafting a Mk2 panel on to a Mk 1 but dont worry he is "adapting" it to fit flush and using the old one as a template, he said it was easier to fit the new one then alter it as the original one was "as a pear". He assures me it will look "right", and will weld up the hole in the arch where the stone shield goes etc. He shut the door and everything is "in line" 8)

Picked these up too from the local signwriters, who have scanned the original faded and cracked front plate and made me these which look spot on and a great recreation. £20 well spent.

She will go to the ball, OK the ICCCCCCCCR but you know what I mean! :D

I may need to "sell my body" at this rate to pay for it, once its all done, I will find somewhere nice to park up and take some proper pictures.
