I'm amazed they went out at all, I heard the place was under a lake most of the day?
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

I was stuck in traffic for approx 1.5hrs, so total journey time was 3hrs to get in, worse to come later on though, i was stuck in the carpark for 2 1/2hrs without moving an inch, so i had an hours kip, then it took another hour to finally get out of silverstone & then i mashed it up going flat out all the way back home, total time approx 5hrs. A bloody long day, but it was worth it to see the f1 cars, the noise they made was awesome :)

Its not concourse tom, it would need a complete rebuild for that and a more expensive paintjob, but its going to get used, and has done nearly 200,000 miles!

Second outing in the DTR tonight, to our local SD1 meeting, well its 4 blokes who own Sd1's who like interesting cars in general, no tax on the Rover (the money for that went on the BX) so thought I would give her a run out (after a quick rub over), she does seem to run alot smoother after the jaunt to harrogate and one of the chaps used to be a service manager at a Peugeot dealer and commented on how "sweet" the 65hp XUD sounded and knows them inside out. (make sure you change the coolant regularly is his tip!)

Driving back home in the dark the dash board lit up like a 80s pin ball machine, I do love Mk1's!! 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

Fine now, had a patch welded in the boot floor (as usual) and one to the Subframe (done properly), but otherwise its very solid, its had new outer sills previously but has been undersealed in the past.
