I was just looking into that! Although, looking at various forums the results are mixed!

It looks particularly gorgeous in that first pic Jay. Probably preaching to the converted but Gandini got the lines of the BX so 'right'. Shame those speedlines are coming off, they really suit it. 8) *

:(

Regarding this history, I was equally concerned about the fishy MOT situation, so tried to investigate. If you do a search of the spotting thread on here you'll find references to I think about three ebay adverts - all identical - between about 2006 and 2009. I assimilated from that that the car was simply sat in a shed somewhere in Lanarkshire with the owner from time to time trying to flog it.

My theory is that it's done a million and eighty thousand miles. It's just been round the clock.

This was Linegeist's ad, check out those bangin' trims!

Also I've found the parcel shelf which I will add to your goody box

Cheers Will, let me know when you've got them and i'll pick them up.

I've sent off for the history so hopefully i can get a decent idea of the mileage from previous owners. But, i genuinely don't think it has been clocked, everything is too tidy on it!

I remember Bob (Linegeist) thinking it had been clocked (and mentioning so on this forum). But when I saw it I told him that in my view there was no way it had been clocked - everything just looked too fresh for that.

Ha, I refurbished those very wheels many moons ago. I remember sanding the badges with wet & dry to get them nice and clear 8)

At the time I didn't realise they weren't standard!

Jay, why not contact Athena Girl, a member on this forum. I'd love it but I've got enough trouble keeping this other (rusty) Athena going and I have a damaged one Sorn'd as well as the recent Auto which is basically pretty good.
I met her as she was quite local and selling a nice grey Auto 1.6 vgc but I did not like the trim and it was relatively expensive. I know she was looking for a 16v or manual BX. Worth a PM, she lives near Cranleigh.
