Re: Mat's BX Blog
Looks like a press photo. I'm a fan of leather and I have to say that looks rather lush!

Re: Mat's BX Blog
This is my similar shot as Matts without leather! Not cleaned/polished the interior either so should come up nice and shiney

Re: Mat's BX Blog
It would have been a freakish coincidence if you had already taken a picture at that exact same angle! Looks good, and you've even made the effort top get the steering wheel near enough straight, and take the tatty bunch of keys out of the ignition
I finished polishing it last night so that just leaves packing to do this evening, including half a boot full of logs!

Re: Mat's BX Blog
Matt that looks great mate. You know, I didn't take a copy of your photo out with me or even try to memorise the various parts of the car as reference points around the edge, the uncanny similarity between shots is pure coincidence!

Re: Mat's BX Blog
To me it makes sense to do the trim after the polishing, as you always get a bit of polish on the black trim. Three whole tins of Back to Black & silicone spray I've used!

Re: Mat's BX Blog
Back to reality again, and work But also snow
I took the Focus this morning, as things like a heated screen, mirrors, washer jets and winter tyres swung it for me...takes ages to warm up though!
I also tried to get the Stellar started, but was cranking slowly now I've put the spark plugs back in, there was no spark, and no fuel getting through. Apart from that it was fine I think the battery is knackered, as it's very old and dropping to around 6 V as soon as you start cranking, and grinding to a halt shortly afterwards. That's also probably the reason for lack of fuel and spark, as it's a mechanical pump and the Lumentition ignition seems very sensitive to battery voltage.
