Are you keeping the wheels two tone or going for the original look silver?

in leaving them as they are Tim would they have been just silver when it came out of the factory ?

Yes bud, same size wheels but just silver, I think they look good as is, a few 16v's have been updated with smoked lenses and anthracite wheels.

Hmmm i do love it with the current colour scheme and in trying to keep mine all original, as much as i can but the wheels look to good in graphite :') and i hope to be taking it to shows too

Looks great, and brings back a lot of memories. I would absolutely keep the wheels as they are... I always contemplated painting mine back to the original silver, but as long as the silver lip is nicely polished, the Anthacite ones look ten times better. I got G-VOT what I was 18, and I managed not to crash it too. You should be fine as long as you're not stupid.

Oh, and can I have your old exhaust back box please (if you still have it)? Looks like an original Phase 2 16v jobbie, and I'm on the hunt for one of those.

Yeah mate ive still got it might need abit of pipe welding on it as i cut it off to add the cherry bomb on but yeah its it good shape urmm £10 ? Where are you from ? Or how far are you from Birmingham ? Im not good with places

That said a BX 16v was fast enough for me when I was 20.

A 16v was TOO fast for me, when I was a fair bit older! Utterly joyous to drive far too quickly, which is why I got rid of it. My next BX was a non-turbo diesel. Much more like it!

Thank you and i still drove my TGD to give it a run now and then just so it didn't sit but i swapped 1 week id use the 16v the next id use the TGD and it was amazing to think when i was driving the TGD i thought it was pretty nippy but like nothing compared to the 16v
