Not from me - I'm in the midst of spending many times what I paid for Fred on him, which will total far more than he's worth, not to mention the hours I'm putting in on him, when for his purchase price I could had bought a late Xantia 1.8i with tax & MOT last week!

As much as I like Xantia's (Mk1 type anyway) I wouldnt have another unless it was stupidly cheap or free, or I needed a cheap interesting daily drive, they just dont do it for me the same as a BX.

I do know where there's an early (as in chevrons on the bonnet, not the grill!) td vsx needing a home, been off the road for a while but regularly driven on private land. Apparently failed the last MOT it was put through on nothing more than hard spheres!

Hmm dont tempt me Mike! I will get in real bother! When was it last MOT'ed?

Anyway we get the keys on Saturday at 9am., very exciting! but we have 14 days before we both hand the keys back on the two houses we both occupy...and we will be rather short of cash until the relevant security deposits come back but knowing letting agents they dont rush!

RD is finally under a car cover (until it blows off again), I am frustrated that I havent really done much to it for weeks, but once the move is sorted and the deposits back I can get the welding done and maybe the clutch as the tax is out in April and at this rate I wont have used it!

Were in! well half of our furniture is, and the TZI is tucked away snug (althought loaded up with the entire contents of my old garage) in its new home. It fits with ease but theres a nasty pillar right where the drivers door opens so it will need some carpet attaching and I will need some wooden blocks so I dont hit the front bumper on the wall.

The RD estate has been promoted to a very empty garage at my old house for 2 weeks until we hand the keys back.

It seems apparent our new house is not going to be oil and LHM friendly so I will be relegated to the kitchen when tinkering as its the only room in the house without cream carpet!

Indeed, I will need to buy a shed for storage of such items as patio chairs and lawnmowers.

Well all is well in the Spencer-Leech household, the baffoons at BT finally got us connected after lots of shouting and calls to pakistan to their call centre (We shall be moving to Sky in July when the contratc expires) The RD estate is sitting on mums driveway making the place look untidy but is off hopefully soon to the BX Club Northants Depot for storage and fettling as I havent the space at the new pad.

Januarys BX'Clusive which should arrive in March (dont ask) features the NEC and the Estate and Mr Kitchen heavily so Kitch make sure you get your hands on a copy!

Little tip when buying a shed, don't buy one the 'right size' but buy one twice that size then it will be just right! :D
