Use a hair dryer on hotest setting and it will come off easily.
Then you will need the special sticky tape to put it back on, readily available on ebay.

If a hair-dryer still doesn't make the glue soft enough to lift of the badge (without melting your paint!), run a piece of fishing line behind the badge and slice it off - that always works.

Only I've got a nice one in the shed

If none of that works you might try molybdenum wire - wrap it around tools NOT your finger - it'll have your finger off.
