Went up to see both Mollie and Elsie at the Chevronic Centre yesterday and meet both Rob and his excellent team.
Elsie was taken away yo be resprayed and it looks like Mollie wont be long before she is finished.
Elsie has been totally welded up and every panel replaced. She will be resprayed a Jaune primivere, a primrose yellow rather than the rather drab off white she is now.

We had a yellow GSA Club estate when I was a nipper. Great colour!

Was given this today, an almost mint Mk 1 BX 19 Diesel owners manual from 1984!! Go very well with either Mollie or Wilma. A pretty rare bit of kit. Just need another 3. Anyone got any more?

Rob has just let me know that Mollie has been started, the fans work and she goes up and down, albeit with a few teething problems which will be sorted.

I've never seen such a clean looking BX... in fact, i don't think I've seen a cleaner car from the eighties, fabulous looking Mk1. The colour looks gawgeous, I'm jealous lol

Dosnt matter Tim, she is going to have a hard time going rusty!! Ime quite happy driving her in the rain, its frost and snow with salt on the road ime going to be wary about. Anyway, she is going to be used. No point having her sorted. Sophie is next.

There is a video on BXCs Facebook page of Mollie driving around the Chevronic Centre, would put it on here but havnt a clue how to do it.
In the mean time, the TGD clocked up 290K this afternoon on the original engine, dosnt smoke or use any oil and water and ime quite confident to take her on any long trip, hopefully to Looe soon.
