Well today was/is very bizarre, I'm sat at my usual desk, but the garage is silent and empty, everyone else has moved down to the new site, I shall be based here whilst we set up the other arm of the business and I buy plenty of stock to feed both sites. Company car goes at the end of the month, I wanted to set up a traders policy but at £2300 a year and lots if things I can and can't so I will stick with insuring them individually.

Part of my job is disposing and sourcing vehicles so if you have something to sell or you are in the market please let me know as I may be able to help, not just Vw, and will mean you can avoid the sharks like we buy any car....

All is well with the new job, in fact it's great, I have a garage to myself plus a use valet bay and no weekends, ok I loose the company hack but have a car to use as a runabout during working hours.

I had a visitor last week, Kitch himself! Who was in burton collecting his missus new motor who he bought from an old trader buddy of mine (yes it's a small world).

Xantias lovely and doesn't the TZI look well in this months Bxclusive!!

well things are moving along nicely, still changing everything over to the new "married" name, Xantia starts first time every morning, and is very comfy indeed! Fuel economy seems to be great, easily averaging 45+ which isn't much less than I got from my 2.0 Golf.

I am slowly doing a few bits to make it more useable, upgraded bulbs, a new front bumper has been purchased for not much and will be painted din the future along with some used wings. Its the main family car and will average about 600 miles a month, filling it up from empty to the brim for the first time using my own money at a cost over of 70 quid was a bit of a shock.

In other news the claim for the SD1 is FINALLY settled, after 10 months and threats of having to go to Nottingham court and put my account across was muttered the claims people have got the twunt with the BMW to agree to 50/50, which isn't what I wanted but he refused to back down as did I we were at a stalemate, maybe one of those dash cams will come in handy in the future! I will be getting some moneys back, which will cover the cost of the extras I paid for and the purchase of the Xantia so not all bad!

Roll on summer so I can get the BX's out and about again!

It's about time that SD1 was moved on to a new custodian so you can concentrate on Citroening    :D [-o< :?:

I would sell it, but it would need to far more than its worth to make me consider it.

Well I changed the fuel filter today if that counts? Took all of 2 minutes and the old one was as clean as the new one!

Fitted a new radio (thanks paul) and downloaded the code from the net so for £8 I have a fully working radio casette which lights up too!

Off then to stone to see Chris Abbott to pick up some parts I bought, he had the 19TGD bxi700 that was written off last year when the ball joint gave way and the suspension collapsed.

If anyone's interested the car complete with 5.5j speed lines is at copart in Chester and was mint.

2 weeks and 500 miles down all seems well.
