So here's the situation; I have no charge light (but I do have a charge). No rev counter, no oil level or pressure gauge and no cooling fans.
Does that sound like a pattern to anybody, or are they all totally random faults?

The connector under the battery comes to mind...at least on the diesel most of the engine sensor wires go thru it. steve

Yeah everything else works. It's weird! Have tried a different binnacle in case the wiring had gone internally, but it's no different.

Just had something similar whilst putting mine back together.
Had accidently cut one of the wires to the ignition, repaired and everything came back.
Might be worth a look for a loose or broken wire around there?

I have zero patience for your tedium.

The cooling fan(s)and whole cooling circuit is all on Circuit 4 as is the fuse for that system. AFAIK it is pretty independent of the other circuits so it must be a shared component. Possibly earth or ignition switch which does very strange things if it fails internally on the contacts.

That's why I asked about the windows, seen this a couple of times when there's been a problem with the ignition switch, but in both cases the windows didn't operate.
