Citroen Bx 4x4 Speedometer cable

Post by Cibx »

Hi, In UK has to be better sparepart availability. Has anybody found right cable for Bx. If you try to find with google the cable it is offering always the normal cable and it is not right or this how I think. Before I broke my own one many years ago I noticed it is much longer than normal and of course with different "head" in connection transfer gear box. Thank advance for interested.

RHD/LHD cables are almost certainly different due to the relative positions of the speedo and gearbox. If you have the broken original cable, there are companies such as https://speedycables.com who can repair/re-manufacture it.

I think even 16 Valve has a longer cable than other BX. I have a BX parts list and it´s different part number listed.

I´m often watch Wheeler Dealers and Car SOS on TV and I think that in UK there is a specialist in almost everything you can find on a car.

This is for a RH drive car so I think it will not fit. But the length is stated so you can compare it.
