Hi all hope you're all well!
I'm on the lookout for a BX. I have around £1000 to spend on one. Whats out there? Anything will be considered, obviously one with some MOT would be preferred.
I can be contacted on here or via text/whatsapp on 07786138156
Cheers everyone

Welcome back, one will show up.
Don’t be too picky on models, just look for a good example with a long mot

Re: BX Wanted £1,000
A solid shell is a good starting point, look for rust in the usual places esp around the rear axle mounts.
£1000 should get you a reasonable mid spec with some mot, listen for knocking at front (droplinks or wishbones) clicking or creaking at rear on the up/down or rear wheels thus /\ (arm bearings) hydraulic leaks, damp carpets/footwells,
Rust is a big BX killer
Headgasket failure
Hydraulic system neglect/failure
Get under it with a torch if poss check for rust and corroded and perished pipes.
Good luck.

There's a tidy TXD Turbo hatch come up for sale in Portsmouth the other day. K plate, quite a rare car and a rare colour. Think it's £1395.
