There's lots of controversies around the BX 4x4. Some people love them and others wouldn't have one under any circumstances.

Personally I think that they're great fun, although i would say that as I took the time to build one. Sure, some of the parts are unique, fragile and difficult to repair, but they're a driving experience of their own, and they really surprise people. Mine has the added bonus of having the torque of the diesel engine & the grip of the 4x4 behind it too.

Last year I took mine off road, and it went everywhere that a Land Rover discovery went. The look on the drivers face was priceless when the BX was still behind them!

1992 Citroën BX 1.9 TXD (with GTI engine; Mulleys old car) - Parts car.

2004 Citroën Xsara Desire. (Now gone).

2016 Ford Focus Zetec - Daily Driver. (Absolute bone shaker).

There's a fair bit of information in the blog section of the website, under "The Myth, The Legend, The Citroën BX 1.9 Diesel Meteor 4x4!" although I didn't cover everything, nor am I very good at keeping it updated. There are a few pictures in there that you might find interesting.
