Wanted: returning to the BX fold shortly, I'm looking for at least one known-good steel wheel. Also a spare wheel hanger for an estate.
I'm in South Hampshire, and not aware of any BXs breaking locally to plunder .

Many thanks for your response rutter123, and apologies for taking a while to react. I try to message you to discuss - hoping it works better than it did the last time I attempted using it & hit problems deleting old messages..

Re: Seeking a Steel Wheel or two, Estate spare hanger
Hi Jaba - thanks for the welcome back. I do now have a car after I found myself drawn to a TU-engined MOT-less project with promise. That I realised was something I couldn't make work out - needed storage and there was a time delay before I could get the MOT-critical work done. Then something appeared locally.
Despite having nowhere to work on a BX at present, It's a rolling project bought largely for its utility (diesel estate). It's "cosmetically challenged" and will need some tlc and work I'll have to "get done" .Watch this space....
Looking below, guess I'd better update my profile.....

Hi Kevin. Thanks for responding. Fringes of North Wales is a bit far for now - but I'll bear you in mind. Need to look on it a little further, but may be in need of a Mk2 black dash pod casing - or any dash pod that hasn't been forced apart and more-or-less reassembled with the aid of lengths of tape in slapdash fashion....womble3go wrote: Thu Jun 24, 2021 10:22 pm Hi, I did break estate last year and do have also of parts from heading to a.b pillars and a dash depending on how yours are. Nice to see the old solidarity hasn't died out. I' m interfering with the project to keep me in mischief and as would be expected I am scaring the electrics back to life. I reckon a few days of fiddling will make a happy thing of it once it has been given a bit of essential maintenance.
