Snap. Mine has the same rust issue both sides. Unfortunately THE WORST place for quite common rust, there is no easy way to fix it properly.
Sadly the demise of many bx, as once discovered it's generally terminal once it spreads to the inner sills and chassis rails, repairable? Yes, cost effective, prob not as it's pretty much a rear end strip out and other bits Will almost certainly need replacing along the way.
