I saw a BX van at the 2CV world meeting, but I have never seen the 3 door estate. I think it looks cool. I want one . Maybee it was only a prototype, or did it exist?
The camper looks bloody awful, like someone has backed up at full tilt into a caravan. The van rocks though, I was seriously contemplating turning my old estate into one by having panels welded into where the rear side windows were and welding up the rear doors.
Thanks Mr Fearn....and the van is nearing the stage it's ready for an MoT. Left it halfway through an octopus change last night then I really only need to look at rear arm bearings and replace the fuel pipe.
Then just a damn good clean!!
For what it's worth, Heuliez made all BX estates and variants of it. As well as the Dyana there was the Buffalo which is a standard 5 door shell but kitted out with wood trim and leather on the inside.
Haven't been able to find any production figures but rumour has it only 50 odd vans were produced in rhd for the Irish market and I have never seen one in lhd except in publicity photos as seen above.
BTW the '3 door' BX coupe posted by Marty is actually a 4 door hatch rather than a 3 or 5 door. The other side is actually standard (with 2 doors) and carries the Sport bodykit!

How Odd - what would be the point of that?
I still want a Van now - so much it hurts (just above the elbow).
