Trading Standards???

Post by Way2go »

Ebay item:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/REAL-SHARK-FIN-AE ... dZViewItem

Now in what sense real?
Real as in made from a shark?
Real as originally fitted to a BX?

What reality do these sellers live in?

Perhaps we should all club together and send him a question each asking whether it would fit over our wiper spray bars lol :D

I doubt it even smells of fish. I am certain I have seen the BX listed somewhere for a single wiper conversion too.

Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

shark fin

Post by Toddman »

Well apparently a shark fin is pretty much tasteless anyway hence why the killing of sharks to make shark fin soup is so pointless - the fin is made up of a certain tissue type that escapes me at the mo, possibly cartelidge (SP?)

The seller also thinks an amplifier is a modulator.

I think he`d be better off trying to flog them to the Paxo/Corsa/Fiasco brigade.
The average age of the average BX owner must be somewhere the mid-forties mark (Vanny, Ian Fearn, Tim Leach and Kitch for example) and those of us who are younger find them a bit bloody stupid (the fins that is, not the above mentioned BX`ers)
