steering clunk
right well when I rock the steering left/right I get a clunk now I thought i had traced it and changed the track ends but it did not cure it, the hardy joint is solid and the lower balljoints have been done recently I have checked the security of the ram to the rack all tight so now I am confused I am hoping I dont have to change the rack I do have a couple of spare ones but that can be a pain of a job.

i had my inner joints done for my mot in june! easy job by the look of it! (i watched my mate do it! )although surprised at how few factors knew what i was talking about when i asked for one! even the local cit, pug renalt breakers had no idea!
as a thought, could the knocking be bottom arm bush wear????
