It`s better than your English mate, never mind your CZ

Darja, no need to apologise as your messages are understandable. 16V versions of the BX seem to change by the minute price-wise. We have a lot of Peugot owners who buy them for the engine then scrap the rest of the car which is a crying shame.

Hello there Darja. Great to hear from you!

Here is the main opportunity this year for us to meet up with BXClubCZ members:

Eurocitro: 5, 6 May in Utrecht, Holland
http://www.citromobile.nl/

This is a fantastic meet that I've been to 3 times now. Here's a picture of my BX at last year's show:

Cheers,

Mark.

the meeting depends on how fast will be work finished (on my car).
No I don't have interior and new ECU, which is not completely programmed.

I know that 16v and mi16 is the same engine... but in peugeot aren't just 1.9 mi16, but 2.0 16v with 116kw (and that's more popular, I don't know why, because of cast iron-block of engine). Mi16-the engine-it's more popular to put it into P205. And this is really deadly combination lighweight x 147HP

I have one 16v engine preservated in garrage, it costs only 178 EUR with whole car (it was little bit crashed and it was really rusty).

About my english.. heh, I wasn't using this language more that one year.. I am forgetting everything. I must confess, that I can better speak/write in czech

Hi again (in the correct thread now) a trip abroad with the BX club would rock.
The O/H is sick of hearing about BX's! :( And aparently Xantias are 'Didsbury cars' LOLZ

I know a few BX, which has 1.9 TD engine from Xantia...

Citroen BX 1.9 TD was made end 93/94, like a few lastest BX. I don't know if it's specialy for some country, for CZ wasn't any special edition I think :-)

Hi Darja, Autoroute thinks the distance from Prague to Utrecht is 868Km, a nice drive in a BX :) For me the journey will be 760Km. We cannot find any BX19TD officially imported into the UK, mine has an engine from a peugeot 405 and costs a lot to insure as a special.

We have for a long time debated the existence of factory BX19 TDs. If you have any firm evidence, Darja, we would be very excited to see it.

You sure about your 868 km - I know the Euro has caused all sorts of problems but my ancient Route66 (pre-Euro I think) suggests about 900 miles (1439 km)

It looks like turbo Diesel from Xantia, no intercoolet at the top, good torgue, but poor HP...
The type of engine is XUD9TTF
I think that one member has 1.9 TZD turbo... I'll take photo ;-)

No intercooler, no turbo. XUD9TTF is definitely a Xantia engine and not a BX (As far as we know).
