Is that the infamous roundabout-with-mini-roundaboutettes in Swindon??

Yes it is!!!

Yeah, how about having a national BX meet there... In Swindon, I mean, not blockading the roundabout!

Stu, I'll see you in the BX Pond forum :) Mine's a pint

Mark.

A couple of years back I found my BX the meat in a CX sandwich on a French roundabout. Where? Le Mans, appropriately enough. A roundabout of BXs would be most appropriate at Rennes, near the factory that produced the BX (estate versions aside).
Back on two wheels and pedal power for the moment.

Seems not. Thread seems to be stuck on the roundabout looking for an exit. My daughter was asking me last night when I can take her up to Leicester for a weekend, which is what would make attendance possible for me.

I don't know, but seems to me that a venue seems to be able to offer some other distraction. What about a motor museum or something. At least if we come along with members of the family who are, let's say, less enthusiastic about a bunch of guys milling about a fleet of BXs, there's somewhere out of the rain ('cos you know it will!) and a place for cuppa. What's more, I've not visited any motor museums in the UK...

I don`t know how many of you are reasonably close to Cheshire but there`s a small but cracking motor museum near Delamere Forest and fairly easy to access from the M6, M56 and M53.
Not neccessarily suggesting it as the national meet but a good place to visit whatever and in amongst some beautiful countryside plus Delamere Forest with long walks and mountain bike tracks if that`s your bag.
Happy to supply further details and directions if anyone`s interested.

I'm going there on Sunday; any chance of a www.bxclub.co.uk hat so we can recognize each other? :)

how about a meet at the Cotswold Motor Museum the entry fee is only 2.95 per person or 2.50 each for groups of more than 10 would make a good day out.

or how about Coventry motor museum

Cotswold

Post by Philip Chidlow »

The cotswold Museum looks promising. It'd be a nice place to travel to as well. Now the big question: When???

I think if we arrange something like this we ought to publicise it: let other BX clubs know and also the CCC. All guests welcome, in BX's or not, I guess.

The Cotswold museum seems to be only open from feb to oct, so that means Coventry.

Weekend after next? 19 - 20 November?
