Thanks Jeremy, I'll download it and see how I get on with it!

I dont think anyone's having a go at you Jon, I'm certain that my issue's with internet speed are at my end, mysapce, overbore, and, er, websites for the more disearning client (!) have been slow for me for a while, so either BT are being sh!te again, or somethings wrong with my PC, this site has been no slower than alot of other sites I frequent.

I seem to remember that people did offer to pay for the site before, certainly I wouldn't mind doing so, although my PayPal account has been Fubar since I moved house and the powers that be have no interest in sorting the situation it seems, so it'd have to be cash or cheque!

Certainly when my car insurance comes up for re-newal I'll get a quote from Ecar, and if they can beat my current price then of course I'll take out a policy, since everybody wants to pay less for what is legalised robbery (or at least it's always seemed that way to me)

Losing independence to GSF has to be bad, assuming that they'd even be interested in hosting BXClub? They certainly dont seem interested in getting BX parts anymore, or at least they dont round here.

So option two has to be best for the majority right?
A little loss of speed is not the end of the world, and I have to say this site seems a lot more stable than a few others I'm on.

Just the thoughts of a drunk you understand

I figured the forum was doing impressions of various BX models.

Recently, its a 17RD.

Mine's started up like a 16-valver this morning....but after about 15 minutes it's turned into a 14 with a blown HG and knackered gearbox!

Jon, I'm not complaining it was just an observation. If I do win a lot of money I will donate. :D

With all due respects, I think you'll find it's a worldwide problem as I'm on a few forums and it seems to be a common complaint regardless of whichever server you use.
Over here we have aussiefrogs which operates on a dedicated server and recently it had to shgift due to the amount of traffic passing through.

For the record, here are the stats as they stand as I do this posting:
Currently Active Users (Last 20 Minutes): 215 (62 members and 153 guests)
View Who's Online
Most users ever online was 525, 5th June 2005 at 10:33 AM.

................and who are the 153 "guests" may we ask?
Mainly Russian and Yank spammers trying to post crap which is gobbling up bandwidth.
I've no doubts, the same happens here as it is also a problem on CitroenZ as well as FCF.

Chill out,Jon.Like Phil said,I think most people made an observation, rather than a critisism.I for one would be willing to make a contribution towards costs,as previously offered, just give me a shout(make it a loud one though, cos us Yorkshiremen have something of a reputation when it comes to money  :D :D :D )
