Is Tim's car fixed ?

Excellent do and thanks very much to the guy with the 14 who donated the wheel trim

Never seen so many BX's ... and never ever seen a birotor in the flesh before!

Yes it is mate, on that note a HUGE thank you to everyone that chipped in to get my rather fragile 16v leak free, special thanks to Vanny and Doc who did the main work whilst I stood around not having a clue what to do!

Just goes to show with bxs they can be nice and shiny but underneath its a different story, im going to surrender the tax and save up to get it repiped before its MOT in October so if anyone can suggest a good place to get it done or indeed want to undertake the work themselves please let me know and what sort of moneys involved.

Thanks again Guys! :D

Bloody fantastic 24 hours - really enjoyed meeting all those I hadn't met before, the chat in the campsite was fun, and lots of nice cars to drool over on the Sunday.

Thanks Doc and Vanny for fitting my trailblazer and advice on the sunroof (I found the numberplate screws in my glovebox the next morning )

Here are some pictures. The rest are at my Flickr site. Enjoy!

I had a fab day, was good to meet some new faces as well as all the old skool boyz!

Stuart Hedges (thanks for forgetting my wheels, i've got nowhere to put them  )

Fantastic effort from Doc and Vanny for fixing Tim's BX too! Well done men!

I must admit i've got a real hankering for an immaculate mk1 BX. Anyone got one?

In full agreement with what everyone else has posted!

Super day.....grand bunch of chaps & chapesses.....tasty pies......cold Diet Cokes......entertaining lesson in emergency hydraulics repair........imaginative use of gazebo!..........even the weather was pretty kind (most of the time). The sun must have come out more than I realised, as my face is now getting pinker by the minute!

Got a few photos to put up later tonight......I'll shove 'em on here once I've uploaded to Photobucket!

 i would just like to thank everyone who attended the BX Challenge, making it a great sucess! it was certainly the biggest turnout of BX's seen for a long time,i think there were some 60 or so BX's,and no less then 10 MK1 BX's,including two "A" reg cars ---How rare is that!!
Many thanks for thoughs involved in "pulling out my "Dent!" on my italian BX,and the help of stuart hedges for the fitting of a replacement bonnet, now the car is all in one colour!! it was realy ace of you all!
The Challenge could'nt have worked without all your support, how Fab were the BX T Shirts!! i do hope you all enjoyed yourselfs,
to sum up,i just had an email from Ian, the owner of that wonderful red MK1 BX16 TRS auto,
"Chris,
Thanks for giving me details of the BX Challenge. We had a great time
today
and everyone was as friendly and helpful as can be. I spoke to more
people
in about 30 minutes than I spoke to in a whole day at another car club
meeting at Silverstone a month ago! We joined the Club on the spot and
look
forward to being able to come to more meetings.
Best wishes,
Ian & Sue Bowen
Red BX 16TRS Auto
I think that says it all!! thank you ALL!!
If anyone is interested in joining the Citroen car club,if you join before the end of this month, and quote "bx challenge" they will give you a £5 discount, that can't be bad! i have forms,so just drop me a line,
So, for the next BX Challenge.................... :?:
