Adjusting Solex Carb Idle speed

Post by kiwi »

Has anyone got a picture of the idle adjustment screw on a Solex Carb? Driving me nuts trying to remember where the adjuster is. I miss the webber I had fitted on my UK BXs.

Looked at the Haynes manual and section says to refer to another section which dont exist. Again I miss my older version of the Haynes manual.

Basically the 19TZS with Air Con is running at 1200 rpm ideal which is to high.

Funny you say that yes she is a bit of a pig to start in the cold or from cold.
That also seems to be when the starter/ignition starts playing up.
