I can vouch for that one. :D

As can I, my H reg was / currentley still is as ripe as a pear.

Yet my 500,000 F reg is still amazingly rot free, despite years of abuse and spending much of it's time covered in mud and cow sh!t.

BTW, I've sent a PM Phil.
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

My E plate 19TRS which is battered and abused is rust free underneath also, the only work its had done is have the drivers door hinge welded.

I do wonder if they changed metal suppliers at some point?
It seems (and remember I've chopped about a HUGE number of BX's) that early cars and later cars faired much better in the rust stakes, but G and H reg and early J reg cars seem to be much more prone to tin worm...

Same as the XUD lumps, from about 1990 for a couple of years the alloy heads seemed to be made from crapite.
Odd.

PM got Phil, I've put my mate in the know!

Rob who bought my Le-mans seats has bought this car. He did say he was watching it carefully..

So assuming he completes the sale, we know this one will live on.
They think it's all over, it is now!
