I remember seeing an article in the Citroenian a good few years back about a CX hearse which had a hydropneumatically operated rear deck, operated by a couple of BX power steering rams. Apparently most hearse are 'double deckers' for when they need to transport a body quickly without being seen to be disrespectful, and this was the only way it could be done and still have the top deck able to be at window height.
