I like it.

Just think of the wifes face when I turn up with it and say "our new load lugger". Very practical, with a special place for the mother in law too...

Actually I wonder how many bodies the suspension could comfortably cope with :twisted:

I remember seeing an article in the Citroenian a good few years back about a CX hearse which had a hydropneumatically operated rear deck, operated by a couple of BX power steering rams. Apparently most hearse are 'double deckers' for when they need to transport a body quickly without being seen to be disrespectful, and this was the only way it could be done and still have the top deck able to be at window height. :)

Interesting that the makers can't get the back bumper to line up nicely either!

I imagine the noise of an XUD would spoil the image so its petrol?

The one and only funeral car i have been in was a stretched granada limo with a V6 in it, made a poper racket too as i think it had done alot of miles but went well.

A diesel hearse wouldnt really go! Mind u a 16v would get u there quickly!

Has anybody ever done a 16v BX estate conversion?? OK I know, 'Why?!" but, you know, I'm kind of intrigued...
