My BX (1.7TD) little tuned

Post by Jeth »

Im new to this forum, so I though to share my BX project with you.

It's originally 1.6GTi -90 I got it about six months ago and i've been building it since.

It now has full 16V mk2 bodykit, morettes and 16V interior, Enzo H 15" rims

My old 1.6gti blowed headgasket, so we replaced it with XUD7TE, more fuel, more boost, front mount intercooler is replacing original top mount. Before front mount IC and bosch fuel pump it had 118hp and 246nm of torque.

Don't mind that those morettes are in different colour, painted them today, so i don't have brand new pics.

Here they are:

It's dirty, I know! :)

1.6GTi? You mean 1.9 don't you? Anyway, looks nice. (Picky here, but you need to get that passenger door trim straight, old chap! )

Morettes FTW to use the vernacular!

Hello Jeth and welcome to the club!

Your BX is shaping up nicely - good work . Here in Germany there was a BX TRI which had the fuel injected 1.6 engine - perhaps a similar model? I don't know if this was available in UK.

Well in Finland you see more 1.6gti's than 1.9gti's. But BX is a rare car these days, most people think its justa piece of shit and take it to get wrecked.

I like that very much... I wish that I could find a pair of Side Skirts for mine.

The BX 16GTI has got 113BHP (83KW) by the way. Definitely not as rare or as slow as the BX 11TE...With 54BHP

Keep up the good work!

hehe, that's an old video. I've made a full engine rebuild, front mount IC and bosch fuel pump after that, so might be a bit different :)
