We had one exactly like that - well, except it was a lot more rusty - even nearly 20 years ago - and it was multi coloured by the time I'd rebuilt the front 3 times (twice me, once my Sister). Citroen laughingly call that colour Fawn Beige. S**t brown more like!
2 cly Visa are a right scream - you need to keep up the momentum at all costs, and with no roll bar on the rear cornering is roly poly to say the least. The brakes are shocking - no servo means you really have to lean on them if you want to stop. Teaches young drivers a lot about drivig with anticiaption though

40mpg is more like it, unless you routinely bury the throttle and get the 2nd choke wide open - then it a) makes a lot more noise and b) uses a lot more petrol; but this does not lead to the obvious c) - go any faster!
Will cruise at 70 all day - provided the oil is good - and you haven't left the winter blaking plate in - I did this when recommissioning in the summer. Was wondering why it was idling rough then realised half way home. Whipped the plate out thinking hmm, rather hot under there, then going up a big hill it began to slow down. Eventually, just as I was thinking "b****er it's going to seize" it suddenly eased and we were back to 'normal' motoring.
Boy, was I the butt of some jokes at school when I had a brown car with minimal power - mind you, tunes were soon changed if someone wanted a lift!
Oh, and somebody should tell him it's 652cc - those extra 2 ccs make all the difference!
Ah, happy days. I'd be seriously interested if it was nearer.....
I NEED a BX TD.
