My error actually.. What I meant was take your insurance certificate with you and tax it locally before you drive it home.
Or get the current owner to tax it online before you pick it up.
It's a rather ridiculous situation that if you drove it home with no MOT, you'd most likely have no problems at all, and no-one would care, but drive it with no TAX, and you've got problems.
Who says the government don't want your money.....

They get it any way they can, did you hear about the fuel tax thing? It's gone up ... I think diesel is over £1 per litre again. Are we not supposed to notice? It's probably their way of trying to get the vat cut back.DavidRutherford wrote:Who says the government don't want your money.....

Thats exactley what it was. After promising there would be no increase until at least April.
