The later ones (No.3) had the 'holes' painted ( what I had on my '86 RD) and by the time they reached their final form ( No.6) they couldn't be bothered to paint even these holes or were more likely bean counting.
No 2 says 'mit Durchbrüchen' which means something like 'with breakthroughs' so perhaps the patterns round the edge are actually holes, though I've never seen ones like that, though they are very early. In pix 2 and 3, is that two different hub caps for the fitment of different tyres that just happen to look the same?

Also missing is the same as No. 6 but painted white - dunno what version it was on.Philip Chidlow wrote:Interesting.
There's at least one missing: the 'Dish' GTi/TZD type from about 1990 on. And possibly another: the domed Meteor one (similar to the CX Leader) - like No. 13 but without the logo.
My 16TRS had No. 3 for sure as I recall the rims looking like that, My first BX, a 14E Mk1 had No. 1 - small hubcaps and vented steels though painted silver not grey. I really like the Chamonix ones and No. 4 were the type I wanted for my BX.
No. 5 were fitted to the 'Preview' BX14 in the UK
No. 9 I'm sure were also fitted to the TGD too - actually rather like them.

Yes no.9 were fitted to 2 of my TGD's and are my personal favourite. In fact if anybody knows where I could buy a decent set I would be very interested?

Something tells me that this was a run-out model with Citroen trying to shift units.
The strange obsession in recent years with 'limited editions' going as far as washing powders and chocolate bars!
there's actually a Chamonix for sale on Germany Ebay for a hefty price. Because it's numbered '984' out of '1350' made! Look at that plate of authentification.I really like the Chamonix ones
