If I'm correct, you can find a button "do you want to log in or register" at the left top site of the page.

First time, select register and fill in the form.
After that you should be able to log in and post in threads.

Nice screenshot you posted, with all topics on "0"
How do you mean, it's a brandnew forum ;)

I'm guessing that's the total number of messages for the whole Dutch forum, of which this English/international forum is a new subsection that therefore has no messages of its own. (not professing to be a smartarse, just have been involved with this type of thing for a long time now...)

Exactly! If your membership and posting quotes are iffy, how much else can we take at face value?

Also, where I come from, advertising your competing forum on someone else's - essentially an attempt at member poaching - without at least
breaking the ice first, isn't considered to be terribly good form. Neither is locking parts of your site until a visitor's registered with you.

On an established site this might be understandable. On yours it comes across to me like "Join my site before I show you what I've got",
whereupon you can then show what appears, to the uninitiated, to be another 'new member'.

I'm well aware of how to register on an internet forum thank you very much, but yours somehow makes me uncomfortable.

I'll pass on it - dank u well.

I'm am very sorry if I hurted anybody's feelings.
All I wanted to do is to announce a new forum - certainly NOT tried to create any kind of competition. It's a general Cit forum for crying out loud.

And how do you mean I didn't "break the ice" first? I introduced myself, and my car, more than six months ago.

And eh... it's "dank u wel" ;)

And feel very free to ignore this thread :D

Why thank you - but I'm interested by my fellow member's reactions to you.

Not quite sure what the issue was anyway :? i don't suppose that there's that many forum members that can understand dutch so i think the exodus is going to be limited

Hilko, i wouldn't take it personally, this is only a car forum & not everyone agrees with each other, or necesserily understands humour or intentions on certain posts, which may have been the case this time. Mood swings can also play a part

That is correct. The meaning of this new Forum is to give Citroëndrivers from all over the world a possibillity to meet eachother online.

Again: it is a general Citroën forum, not a type-specific one. And no way that I was willing to create an exodus of forummembers...
