I used to have a couple of nice BXs, but then I started using them and they wore out! Here are a few pictures of them from a few years back...
My 19TGD estate when I got it back in about 1999 and it was still shiny!
The Hurricane from 2007. Must get it sorted and back on the road...
'92 BX GTi Hurricane - gone to a good home
'90 BX 19TGD estate - goes, but not going anywhere!
'90 BX 19TGD hatch in even more bits...
'71 Dyane project
'74 2CV6 project
'82 2CV6 Club - gone to a good home
the remains of an '88 2CV6 Dolly - watch this space!
...and a '95 VW Passat auto estate!!

Quite right! It would be a tragedy if anything happened to it - someone's already nicked the splitter by the looks of it. What's the mileage on it? Any rust?

Give it back mickey taker!
I covet that Hurricane - whatever the condition/mileage now, I reckon it would be well worth getting back in trim, you'll have no trouble finding a Hurricane fan like me (but a whole lot richer) who would bite your hand off for it!
Diagonally parked in a parallel universe
1991 TZD hatch (Triton Green)
1992 Hurricane

Yes, the splitter was long gone when I got it. Can't remember how many miles at the moment, but I think it's about 130k. Not much rust that I know of, apart from a hole at the back of the boot floor and the usual festering in the seams on the front inner wings. Sills, rear door shuts and front door hinges are sound! Wish I could say the same about the engine; that has some major problems. Debating whether or not to rebuild it or just find a good engine (did consider putting in a n/a 1.9D that is in yet another BX, but that would be sacrilege!). Aside from needing a clutch and some rubber hydraulic pipes (and a few other odds and ends), there's not much wrong with it...

I well remember that estate struggling to keep up with the 2cv's in the Alps
Although as my 2cv was very ill at the time, it was nice to have mother duck behind me!
I know of another GTi Hurricane. Think it's still going anyway, the ex Ian Fearn, ex Shaun Lilley car. Belonged to a guy called Ed last I knew and was receiving much love and attention.
