Intermittent rev counter

Post by rutter123 » Sat Nov 28, 2015 12:25 pm

I suspect the pick up or the wiring but does the head unit itself give trouble? Seemed to go on/off when hitting a bump.

The TZD? My vote goes to the pickup: wires almost broken off or cut from the connector over gearbox. Or just corroded connectors..

Wires going brittle and breaking, unplug it from the connector and test it with ohms meter.
