Selling up

I've made the decision after 20 odd years of bx"ing to sell up.
The white estate is provisionally sold and I have a stash of spares that also needs to go ideally as a job lot, too much to list but if you look through some of my previous posts it should give a good idea of what I have here, I will try to add some pics or could email them but ideally sell as a job lot
Or if a member of admin could attach any previous listings to this post would be most appreciated
If I have time I will endeavour to list everything over the next few days

All these parts were from running cars (mostly diesels and turbo diesels) and are in good usable condition. Rear arms may need new bearings but the housings are good

Open to offers on the job lot
I will gladly put it all on a pallet to ship it but this will be £50 ish UK mainland

There are also 3 more boxes full of bits in the boot of the estate which I haven't been through yet

Yes after many years bx"ing it's time to thin things out I just don't have the time nor enthusiasm anymore tho the red TD will be staying with me as its in a thousand pieces and can't be moved maybe one day I'll finish it.

Sad news Cliff. We long time enthusiasts are thinning out nowadays. My solution to keeping the faith was to always have a BX as a runner in daily use as far as possible with others, like yours in the wings in various states of repair. Eventually like you it wears thin when you are just fixing up cars all the time. So I have reduced down to one BX. Its in daily use and is a delight to use still and I will keep it as long as it remains as reliable as it has proved to be.
I think in 10 years time a collection of spares like yours and indeed mine will be invaluable to those trying to keep BXs running. Its a pity that we as BXers cannot organise ourselves somehow to store our parts honeypots somewhere through the goodwill of Clubs or enthusiasts .........
I for one will miss you on here.

Thanx for your kind remarks, I will be keeping the red TD for now after all its been in my possession for a long time 14 odd years and has served me well clocking up in excess of 200k"s in it, I have everything to finish it but no time or inclination but never say never and a prolonged shoulder injury has scuppered future plans.
So I think now is the right time to nip things in the bud.
I will still be checking in to the forum so not completely out of the fold.
By the way I have Yr stalk switch here but the airsc oops on the estate are both broken if you pm me Yr address I'll send the switch over if you still need it.
