The speedo's different too! Looks the same but the gearings different in it. There are two different speedo heads for the 16v.
The numver on the top of the face is all important!

Yours are broken? Do you mean some are broken or all? Is the problem physical damage or electrical gremlins? The reason I ask is that the binnacle is very repairable with parts from other cars, (we DERVishes regularly strip them down to add temperature gauges from GTIs to our diesels) and If all the dials have failed, you probably need to be looking elsewhere for the source of the problem. The technical forum here will be able to help in either case if you would kindly post up there and explain the problems you are having.
