Yes my Volvo too has a defunct Satnav / TV which pops up out of the dash.

Not sure mine is linked to a disc machine in the boot as the Satnav is on a disc, I'll have to give it a whirl.

HI Dave

Both are fine, and have had the rear light seals sorted.

Cheers

The challenge looms so it's all about the Gt at the moment, I've been making do with a leaky sunroof that only opens and needs a thump to shut. I bought a complete headlining and used sunroof off Cliff last year which I decided to finally tackle today.

It's an awkward labour intensive job but not hard. The replacement headlining wasn't good enough to go in and had the cables hanging out so I took them both apart and made one good one out of the too. The sunroof in the GT had a few broken pieces and one of the cables was badly kincked and seized.

I took it apart and oiled all the cables etc and put the replacement sunroof panel into my headlining. Putting the headlining back in with the sunroof attached was hard work, I had to do it that way as the screws on the replacement panel were rusted and rounded off.

Anyway all back together and one filthy headlining and a small dent on the roof later fir the first time it tilted and slide back......once.

It now does the same as before, pops up easily, but the drivers side will not close without manual help and it won't slide back as it sticks.

I've also noticed since the new radiator fitted the heater tap is dripping inside the car.
(It's going to Barry's on Monday and I will let him look at the tap as I can't stand to work on it right now.

To say I'm pissed off is an understatement.

I'll just keep the sunroof shut from now one, the only upside is the drain tubes are clear.

It's a bugger when you go to a lot of work on a car and still haven't fixed it! I'm sure in time it'll be solved. It's a shame about the heater tap too, how dod you notice - were the carptes wet?

Keep on GTing Tim!

GT passed the MOT, well it failed first time as the nsr seatbelt was sticking, a bit of lube and some use and all is well

New rear spheres (all soft and lovely again) and Michelin tyres fitted, and its ready for Bourne on Wednesday for it pre-challenge check up.

Just waiting to hear if the Athena will be ready for Monday so I can swop them over.

The water leak from the tap has now stopped...
